Weimar - Classic City
Hardly another city in Germany is so richly blessed with art and culture as is Weimar.
When Duchess Anna Amalia began to invite poets and intellectuals to her "round table" to Weimar no one would have predicted that Weimar would develop into the Olympus of German literature and a center of European intellectual currents.WEIMAR | Klassikerstadt
Weimar - Parks and Palaces
From the mid 16th century until the beginning of 20th century, Weimar was the residential city of the duchy of Saxe-Weimar. In this small town the resident dukes, duchesses and wealthy citizens built a variety of impressive buildings, castles and parks. Renowned architects and landscape designers created sites now part of the World Heritage, which we may admire and enjoy today. WEIMAR | Parks und Schlösser in und um Weimar
